In our clinic, we offer a comprehensive approach to treating tension and migraines that may include biofeedback and neurofeedback techniques, among other modalities. Here’s an overview of how migraines are treated at our clinic:

  1. Initial Assessment: We begin by conducting a thorough assessment of the individual’s medical history, headache patterns, triggers, and associated symptoms. This may involve EEG assessments for neurofeedback, as well as biofeedback sessions to monitor physiological responses.
  2. Customized Treatment Plan: Based on the assessment results, we develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to the individual’s specific needs and responses. This plan may include a combination of the following therapies:
  • Biofeedback: Biofeedback sessions focus on teaching relaxation techniques, stress management strategies, and muscle tension reduction to help individuals gain control over physiological responses associated.
    • Neurofeedback: Neurofeedback training targets abnormal brainwave patterns associated with migraines, promoting self-regulation of brain function and reducing triggers.
    • Lifestyle Modifications: We provide guidance on lifestyle changes, including sleep hygiene, regular exercise, dietary modifications (e.g., avoiding trigger foods), and stress reduction techniques to help manage headache.
  • Ongoing Monitoring and Support: Throughout the treatment process, we monitor the individual’s progress, track its frequency and severity, and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed. Follow-up appointments and support are provided to ensure continued symptom management and overall well-being.
